What was the wall of a Roman bath-house is now great for climbing on! Hope we didn't dislodge any heritage here at the largest free-standing Roman ruin remaining in Britain. It was an afternoon of fun for the kids, as they tore all over the ruin armed with wooden swords and wearing a hodge-podge of dress-up clothing.  Mr J, the birthday man, was greatly pleased with his choice of a birthday day out. |
