Attingham

We visited Attingham Park, another National Trust country home property, with the kids yesterday. The brilliant sunshine is disguising what was a chilly, changeable, breezy day.  About half an hour before the above photo was taken, we dashed for the car to finish our picnic amidst a pelting shower of icy hail.

Raincoats in the sunshine!

We walked a couple of miles around Attingham's deer park.  We spotted a herd of deer on the far side of the park but the boys were too distracted by chasing the pheasants to seek out the deer further.

Mr J found "Old Man Willow".

Somehow, the older two boys don't feel the cold like the rest of us do!  They've always been the same.  They prefer shorts and flip-flops from April to October, no matter what the weather.
