Aberdour

On our third day in Scotland, we enjoyed a quiet, gentle beach day.  We went to Silver Sands in Aberdour, on the coast of Fife.

We wandered on the rocks looking for sea creatures, ran in and out of the icy water, and sat on the sand.  Righty swam for a while.

Coo and I created an Edinburgh castle on the sand, which stood until the tide came in.  The boys spent ages trying to keep the castle intact, eventually realising that the laws of physics were against them!

One of the highlights of our day was seeing these seals being released into the waters of the firth.
